Cipher, a former bitcoin miner now building AI data centers, bought a 195-acre site in Morgan County with 200 megawatts of power promised by AEP Ohio. It plans to turn the power on in late 2027 and rent space to big tech companies.
Where things stand: Cipher bought the site in December 2025 and plans to switch on power in late 2027.
