Vantage Data Centers campus and Fairfield Energy Center (Millersport)
Also called: Vantage Millersport Campus, Vantage OH2, Fairfield Energy Center
Vantage is building a $2.1 billion campus of four data centers on farmland annexed into Millersport. A separate company wants to build a gas power plant of up to 1,300 megawatts next door to run it. Vantage says the campus will use about 5.5 million gallons of water a year. Neighbors worry about air pollution and secrecy.
Where things stand: Construction began May 2026. The 1,300 MW gas power plant to run it still needs state approval.
๐ Latest update (Aug 17, 2026): Ohio Power Siting Board public hearing on the Fairfield Energy Center at Millersport Junior/Senior High School (case 26-160-EL-BGN).
