Eco-Yotta data center plan on County Highway 9 (Town of Oneonta)
EcoYotta bought more than 150 acres on County Highway 9 in 2024 and proposed a data center of about 2 million square feet. It asked to rezone the farm and home land. The plan was later described as an AI research or hydroponics hub. After strong opposition, the town passed a 12-month moratorium in May 2026.
