WhiteFiber is turning an old textile plant of about 1 million square feet in Madison into an AI data center. It has 99 megawatts of Duke Energy power lined up and could grow to 200.
Where things stand: Being converted and brought online in stages; in May 2026 Duke had delivered 54 MW and a first 40 MW was being readied.
