Project Kestrel is a planned campus of six large data center buildings on 379 acres north of Kansas City International Airport, on land from Hunt Midwest. Port KC approved up to $100 billion in bonds in 2025. A company called Shenandoah Computing is the developer, and news reports link it to Google.
Where things stand: Port KC approved up to $100 billion in revenue bonds in August 2025. Construction was planned to start in 2026.
