Lambda is turning an empty former Bank of America data center near the Kansas City airport into an AI computer center. It starts at 24 megawatts and could grow past 100 megawatts. The first phase costs about $500 million.
Where things stand: Lambda is converting an empty 2009 data center building; it planned to start in early 2026.
