Google Project Mica campus (Kansas City Northland)

Google is building a second, larger campus in the Kansas City Northland called Project Mica. Plans call for five big buildings on about 500 acres, about $10 billion of investment, and about 700 megawatts of power. Google says it will pay the full cost of the power it uses.
Where things stand: Google confirmed the campus in February 2026; construction has started.
