Proposed
Loring LiquidCool data center at former Loring Air Force Base
Also called: Loring LiquidCool Data Center, Building 7230
A company plans an AI data center in an old warehouse at the former Loring Air Force Base in Limestone. It would start small (2 to 6 MW) and could grow to about 26 MW. It uses liquid cooling that the company says needs no water.
Where things stand: Company signed a long-term lease in Oct. 2025. We found no report that it has opened yet.
๐ Latest update (April 22, 2026): Company said it would stay at 20 MW if the state ban passed. The governor vetoed the ban on April 24.
