Proposed
Azimuth Renewables data center site north of Moss Bluff
Azimuth Renewables has an option to buy more than 1,100 acres north of Moss Bluff to study a data center. The land is zoned agricultural, and Calcasieu Parish has no rules that allow data centers yet. Neighbors and a state lawmaker oppose it.
Where things stand: Company holds a land option and says it is only evaluating. No zoning request filed.
๐ Latest update (Sept 10, 2026): Azimuth confirmed it holds an option on more than 1,100 acres and is evaluating a data center.
