Local votes and rules
βΈοΈ Pause on new data centers
Greenup County Fiscal Court unanimously passed a six-month pause on data centers, effective right away. It does not apply to TeraWulf's planned 1-gigawatt data center at EastPark industrial park, or to cities in the county. The county judge-executive said the county wants to set rules on noise, lights and more.
βΈοΈ Pause on new data centers
Boyd County Fiscal Court voted unanimously for a six-month pause on new data centers. The pause does not apply to EastPark industrial park, where TeraWulf plans a large data center. Leaders said EastPark is owned with other counties, so the pause should not block it.
