CloudHQ data center campus at former United Airlines offices (Mount Prospect)
CloudHQ is building a data center campus on an old airline office campus in Mount Prospect, with its own ComEd substations. In 2025 it asked to switch to two bigger three-story buildings, the first due in March 2027 and the second in December 2030.
Where things stand: Broke ground in Aug. 2022. In Oct. 2025 CloudHQ asked the village to change the plan to two larger buildings; first one due March 2027.
