Hut 8 Logan Prairie data center (west of Latham)
Also called: Logan Prairie Data Center LLC
Hut 8 wants a 500-megawatt, $5 billion data center on farmland west of the village of Latham (about 350 people). It says it would truck in cooling water and use about 9,000 gallons a day. The village vote was called off for lack of support.
Where things stand: Latham cancelled its Aug. 3, 2026 vote on annexing and rezoning the land because it lacked the votes. The request was not withdrawn and may return.
