Karis data center campus (Peace and Gurler roads, DeKalb)
Karis proposed seven two-story data center buildings on 132 acres on DeKalb's south side, with a new ComEd substation. The city approved it in 2024, but no user or start date has been announced.
Where things stand: City Council approved code changes for the campus in July 2024. No building news since.
