A Nevada company wants to build a 4-million-square-foot data center and a gas power plant on about 3,700 acres of public land south of Boise. It would be about five times the size of Meta's Kuna site. The BLM is still in early planning, and public comment has not opened yet.

- Oct 8, 2026: We checked where the site is. BLM only says the site is near the Blacks Creek exit off I-84, south of Kuna-Mora Road. No map or land description with section numbers is public yet, so we kept the general pin.
