Edged is building two data center buildings in Council Bluffs, about 200 MW in total. The city approved a smaller, lower design than first asked for. Building frames were finished in 2026.

- Oct 2025Edged broke ground.

Local votes and rules
⏸️ Pause on new data centers
Council Bluffs's council unanimously voted down the mayor's request for a one-year pause on new data centers. The mayor wanted time to update city data center rules from 2007, and said water and sewer systems are near capacity. Projects already underway would not have been affected.
