American Tower edge data center (Pinellas Park)
American Tower wants to build a small, roughly 17,000 square foot data center on a half-acre in Pinellas Park, next to its cell tower. The city must approve it as a conditional use, and it paused data center reviews for a year.
Where things stand: Permit request pending. The city then passed a one-year data center moratorium in August 2026; the company asked to work with the city on rules.
π Latest update (Aug 2026): Pinellas Park City Council voted unanimously for a one-year moratorium on data center development.
