Project Tango / Central Park Commerce Center (Loxahatchee)
Also called: Project Tango, Central Park Commerce Center
Developers wanted to turn an approved business park in western Palm Beach County into a 3.6 million square foot AI data center campus called Project Tango. Commissioners rejected it in July 2026. The older approval with a smaller data center still stands, and construction on the site continues.
Where things stand: County denied the big Project Tango AI campus 5-1 in July 2026. An older 2016 approval for a smaller data center plus warehouses still stands, and site work continues.
π Latest update (July 15, 2026): County Commission voted 5-1 to deny Project Tango, without prejudice, after about 12 hours of debate. The mayor recused herself.
