AI upgrade of the old Nasdaq data center, 80 Merritt Blvd
Also called: Trumbull Data Center, AC Trumbull LLC, 365 Data Centers Trumbull
An older data center at 80 Merritt Boulevard may be upgraded into one of Connecticut's first AI data centers, a $200 million project. The town says the owners agreed not to raise power draw, noise or water use, or to make the building bigger. Residents asked for a pause and the town passed one for new data centers only.
Where things stand: Existing data center; owners plan to turn it into an AI data center. Town's new 2-year moratorium does not cover this existing building.
π Latest update (Sept 9, 2026): Trumbull approved a 2-year moratorium on new data centers. It does not cover upgrades to this existing building.
