Proposed
Valley Oak data center at former USG plant (Shinn Street)
A San Jose developer filed plans in 2023 for a 90-megawatt data center on 12.5 empty acres where a gypsum plant once stood in Fremont. It would be one 50-foot building with 35 backup generators. We found no news of a decision since then.
Where things stand: Filed with Fremont in February 2023; no city decision found.
๐ Latest update (Feb 2023): Valley Oak Partners filed plans with Fremont for a 90 MW data center.
