Serverfarm is building a $6.6 billion data center campus on a hillside in Clarksville. The first phase is due in early 2028. Residents forced a Dec 1 vote on the city's bond and tax deal.

Voters will decide two bond ordinances for the Serverfarm data center: up to $50 billion for Hatchbo LLC and up to $5 billion for SF ARK1 LLC. Petitions got enough signatures, so on Sept. 28 the council unanimously called a Dec. 1 special election (pending Johnson County Election Commission approval).
