Local votes and rules
๐ Other
The Assembly voted 6-1 to make a data center pause one of its 2027 requests to the state and Congress. It asks for no new permits, leases or building of commercial data centers on state and local land until rules exist for power use, water, noise, air and the environment. This is a request, not a local ban.
