Clackamas County commissioners voted unanimously to start the process for a pause on data centers in unincorporated areas. A commissioner said the goal is a pause lasting through the 2027 state legislative session. Public hearings are set for Oct. 21 (6 p.m.) and Oct. 22 (10 a.m.) in Oregon City. The county has no data center applications.
