⏸️ Pause on new data centers
Norman City Council voted unanimously for a one-year pause on new data center rezonings and permits, through June 9, 2027. The city says no data center is proposed there now; it wants to write zoning rules first. Owners with hardship can appeal to the Board of Adjustment.
