⏸️ Pause on new data centers · Santa Fe County
County commissioners voted unanimously for an 18-month pause on permits for data centers using 1 megawatt or more (first proposed: 12 months and 100 megawatts). No data center is proposed in the county now. Staff will write rules on water, power, noise and more, and must report progress at least twice during the pause.
