Burleigh County's zoning code allows data centers only in Industrial zones with a special use permit. They must be 1 mile from homes, schools, churches and parks, stay under 50 dBA by day and 45 dBA at night at homes, and test generators only from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. We did not find the date the county adopted it.
