City council approved ending its data center deal with Western Hospitality Partners for the Lutticken land and returning the $85,000 fee. The mayor had said in March the city would not go forward.

County board changed its zoning code to ban uses not listed in it, and told zoning staff not to accept data center requests until a data center ordinance is done. It works like a pause. The draft ordinance still needs a zoning board hearing and a final vote.
