Supervisors set aside (tabled) a proposed data center pause. Most want to write a data center ordinance instead, possibly also covering crypto mining, solar and battery storage.

The county zoning commission voted unanimously against rezoning county land near Garner for a possible data center. Two members were later disqualified because they live in Garner, so the board must name replacements.
