⏸️ Pause on new data centers · Unincorporated Lee County
Lee County already has a pause on data centers that was set to end in July 2026. On May 26 commissioners talked about extending it to the end of 2026, with a vote planned for June 9. The county is writing an ordinance that would create a special zoning district just for data centers.
