Haralson County agreed to sell more than 1,600 acres to Georgia-Tallapoosa LLC for $45 million. The land, which the city of Tallapoosa annexed, could become a data center. The Tallapoosa city council must still approve any project. Residents posted 'Keep Haralson Rural' signs.
