⏸️ Pause on new data centers
Council unanimously passed Resolution 2026-116, pausing applications to build, expand or run data centers for 12 months while it reviews zoning. A separate ordinance (2026-42) to ban data centers citywide was sent to the Planning Commission, then pulled from its Sept. 1 agenda for more review.
